I discovered Petite Studs, a local online shop that sells
handmade stud earrings, earlier this year and became smitten with their fun and
funky designs. Made of high end clay and
resin, the earrings are allergy free and very reasonably priced – about $10 a
pair.
I was lucky to receive a pale pink pair, shaped like
teardrops and covered in gold glitter, from the owner, Ashley. She makes studs
in an assortment of shapes (heart and round, too), colors and patterns for a
variety of occasions (from the everyday to New Year’s Eve). Ashley can also
create custom orders for those looking for just the right pair of earrings to
complete a look. I think mine scream, “party
girl” and that’s perfect for me.
I wore my petite studs with a matching pale pink peplum
top, pearl statement necklace, rolled boyfriend jeans and nude strappy sandals.
I like the high-low combination in this outfit – the casual jeans in a light
wash dresses down the pretty lace top and gold jewelry - making it ideal for a date night. What do you think of
