With a Blue Dress

There’s just something about a blue dress.

Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels agree. However this dress is less devil, more divine. It’s buttoned-up and professional, but flattering and flirty. And thanks to the spiky necklace and leopard print clutch, this thrift-store find works for today at the office and happy hour; it’s wonderful what accessories can do.

Accessories are transformative. A necklace, belt and clutch took this secondhand dress and made it chic and modern. These items changed the tone of the dress and its purpose. That's the power of accessories. You can use them to dress it up, dress it down, add some edge, add some whimsy, make it work appropriate, make it Saturday night appropriate and most importantly, make it yours.
