Earlier this year, Maya Ramirez put Toledo, Ohio, on the map among fashion designers and those who follow them. The 15-year-old sophomore, who attends the Toledo School for the Arts, won the first season of “Project Runway: Junior”!

Apparently, to me, summer means summer break from my blog. I’m not sure if it’s the long days or my busy calendar that keeps me away, but I’m happily back at it. I hope you find your way back, too!

When I opened the box from Banana Republic with a squeal of delight, I was pleased to see a vibrant cobalt and an army green – two versatile colors that I welcome for spring.

What a Lions fan wears on Super Bowl Sunday

Even though my Detroit Lions didn't make Super Bowl 50, I will definitely be watching – it's still football after all. Throw in the always tear-jerking national anthem, some marketing genius and a half time show that's sometimes so bad it's good; it's an event I don't miss!
